Professional Services

We are experts in construction and project management. We partner with businesses and homeowners to implement strategies and controls so we can bring your project in on time and within budget. Whether it’s a problem or a destination, we will work side-by-side with you to help navigate obstacles, reach your goals, and sustain performance.

Our Professional Service Agreement (PSA) process is designed to foster direct collaboration with our clients and key third parties to conduct thorough discovery work, ensuring that every project’s details and inputs are accurately defined and refined. This process also offers prospective clients the opportunity to evaluate our approach and service quality before committing to a new construction or major renovation project.

Our PSAs are ideally suited for new construction, major renovation, and shoreline projects where the preliminary information is insufficient to move directly to bid. Pricing for these services is based on the anticipated level of effort and generally ranges from $3,000 to $15,000.

We offer the following services:

  • Discovery work and estimating when projects and inputs are not well defined
  • Consulting for CESCL (Certified Erosion & Sediment Control Lead) work
  • Project Management by a certified PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Permitting services for residential and commercial construction
  • Feasibility studies
  • Drafting services

PSA Process – FAQs

  1. What is a PSA (Project Services Agreement)?

A PSA is an agreement between Integrated NW Construction and the client that outlines the scope of pre-construction services, including design collaboration, budgeting, scheduling, and permitting assistance before entering a full construction contract.

  2. Why do I need a PSA before starting my project?

A PSA helps establish clear expectations, refine the project scope, and address potential challenges early, ensuring a smoother construction process with fewer surprises.

  3. What services are included in the PSA?

The PSA typically covers feasibility analysis, design coordination, preliminary budgeting, scheduling, value engineering, and/or permitting services.

  4. How much does a PSA cost?

The cost of a PSA varies based on project size, complexity, and the anticipated level of effort. Integrated NW Construction provides customized pricing based on the scope of pre-construction services needed. Contact us for a tailored quote.

  5. How does a PSA benefit my project?

It allows for proactive planning, cost control, and risk mitigation, ensuring your project is well-prepared before committing to full construction.

  6. Is the PSA fee applied toward the total project cost?

In many cases, a portion of the PSA fee may be credited toward the final construction contract. Any credits to be applied would be outlined in the agreement.

  7. How long does the PSA phase take?

The duration depends on project complexity but typically ranges from a few weeks to several months.

  8. What happens after the PSA is completed?

Once the PSA phase is complete, you’ll have a well-defined scope of work, estimate, and timeline. At that point, you can choose to move forward with Integrated NW Construction for the build phase.

  9. Can changes be made during the PSA phase?

Yes, adjustments can be made to optimize project feasibility, budget, and design before finalizing the construction contract.

  10. Is a PSA required for every project?

While not mandatory for all projects, a PSA is highly recommended for larger or more complex construction projects to prevent costly design changes and scheduling delays.

  11. How do I get started with a PSA?

Contact Integrated NW Construction to discuss your project. We’ll walk you through the process and develop a PSA tailored to your needs.
